previous sermon series - come to the feast

It’s nearly Thanksgiving and that means it’s almost time to sit down and indulge in a great meal. For most of us, meals are a regular routine. We eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner with friends and family without giving the occasion much thought. In Luke 14, Jesus sits down to a meal and instructs as about the importance of our everyday choices. Join us as we discover through these moments, parables, and commands what Jesus means when He says, “come to the feast.” If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

A meal

The who, the why, and the what for matter when it comes to our lives and who we welcome into them. The setting of a meal gives Jesus the opportunity to explore that for each of us.

A Parable

The Parable of the Great Supper implores us to take the Lord’s invitation seriously. There is no way we should put off the invitation and there is no excuse to find ourselves doing anything else.
