The Last Supper
The moments Jesus shared with His Apostles at this momentous meal are full of unfortunate circumstances. Join us as we discover what would have surely caused our Savior a great deal of pain and mental anguish during this meal.
Some of the most painful words you ever hear in Scripture are uttered in these quiet moments between Jesus and His Father. It should be obvious to us that He was suffering, yet still willing to endure. On top of those words, what must He have felt seeing Judas and that battalion of soldiers?
Calling the trials of Jesus before the High Priest, Pilate, and Herod a sham gives other shams a bad name. The mockery of justice, the arrogance of accusers, and the sheer neglect for human life is appalling. After all Jesus had been through and all that awaited Him, these trials are surely a low-point on the way to the Cross.
When Jesus endured the Cross, his trials were monumental. The shear amount of emotional pain alongside of all the physical pain is more than many can imagine.
